Chile Fire Destruction Response

Chile Relief Efforts

Dry Creek Charity is supporting efforts to rebuild a community where 300 homes were destroyed in the Penco, Chile fire in January 2026. Lead by Neall Humphrey helped set up a new Chilean charity “Seguir Adelante,” which means “Moving Forward,” was officially registered to fund this endeavor. Trusted leaders on the ground have been chosen to determine needs and assist in rebuilding both homes and lives of people who have lost everything.

Fire Relief

In 2026 we have supported 60 families in the Penco and Lirquen communities of Chile to rebuild their homes that were destroyed by fire.

People of Faith

The fire destroyed their homes and their possessions, but not their lives. The community was not discouraged and did not lose its faith. “La fe, no se quemo.” (Our faith did not burn).
